“I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company. “
Following on from the previous post about Resonant Botanicals and my product review on their product Invigorate, I have been given another product to review by the company. This time I have been sent their QI of Calm product.
I am really looking forward to reviewing this, as I really loved their Invigorate product. QI of Calm is also nicknamed ” The Opioid Alternative”, which really appeals to me because unfortunately, these are tablets I have to take on a daily basis.
This product focuses on consumers who suffer from anxiety, or panic attacks or just general stress factors.
As with all Resonant Botanical products, QI of Calm is 100% natural, which I love so you can use as much as you want.
It is pronounced ‘Chee of Calm’ – Chee is a Chinese word used to describe life force and energy.
So what’s in it?
Western herbs, such as chamomile, lavender, skullcap, green tea and passion flower.
Ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha, which is considered a tonic for protection against stress.
Brahmi, which is believed to support sattva or the pure essence of consciousness. Brahmi helps to promote a balanced emotional state and aid with a restful sleep.
There is also an array of essential oils, like frankincense, sandalwood, chamomile and lavender.
The one smell that really stands out for me, is the Lavender, which is a very subtle smell and not overpowering. The mixture of different oils and herbs used in the product create a lovely relaxing aroma.
As with the Invigorate product, QI of Calm comes in a lovely, well designed metallic bottle with a pump activated nozzle. This makes it really easy to remove the liquid and apply the product.
QI of calm is a creamy consistency and rubs in really well. It doesn’t leave a residue or make your skin sticky.
Who Can Use The Product?
The makers of QI of Calm state on their website, that this product is suitable for an array of problems and issues, some of these include, but are not limited to:
General Anxiety Disorder
Panic Attacks & Stress
How Do You Use It?
QI of Calm can be used systemically by applying to the spleen area and rubbing in. Applying it in this area is where the CB2 receptors reside, and when applied to the area it allows the CB2 receptors to become active, and allows the user to feel relief.
It can also be applied to the neck, and around the lymph nodes. For people suffering from Insomnia, they can apply to the bottom of their feet. This is a little like acupuncture and allows the calming oils and products in QI to aid sleep.
Once again, I thoroughly loved using this product and I love what the company stand for.
I have been using this product for a couple of months now, and have really enjoyed using it. I have definitely found a difference in my sleep when I have been using it on the soles of my feet before bed. I also use it around my wrists when I feel anxious so that I can lightly smell wrists when the anxiety gets really bad, and this definitely calms me down a lot.
Overall I would really recommend this product to anyone who suffers from an anxiety disorder or stress.
