Pressure King Pro – Cooking made simple!

This post contains affiliate links – I am in no way affiliated with Pressure King and This review is entirely my own opinion based on a present I received for Christmas. I have not been paid or received this product for review.

I’m back. Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately, however with Christmas and New year I have been really struggling with work, and feel crappy and getting everything ready for Xmas. It all got a bit much and my writing and posts have completely slipped by the wayside.

So here I am with my brand new post of 2018!

Now this one is a little different to some of my previous blogs, however, I just have to write to about this product.

For mine and my partners, Xmas present off my Mum, I was given a Pressure King Pro!

Now you are probably wondering, WTH is a pressure king pro (PKP)?

Its a lifesaver is what it is, especially for people like me who have chronic illnesses and find cooking a struggle especially on ‘flare days.’

The pressure king pro is so much more than just a pressure cooker. You can pretty much cook anything in it. Rice, pasta, curries, soups, a whole turkey or chicken, meat from frozen. You name it you can cook it and in minutes not hours!

Over Christmas, My partner and I decided to have dinner on our own, and I offered to cook it. Now, this was really daunting for me, as I have never cooked a dinner before. Plus my partner is a meat eater and I’m vegetarian, So I was technically making 2 separate meals! Arrrrgggh!

Fortunately, though, my mum had decided to come and visit us and do presents on Christmas Eve, which meant that I had my new PKP before Xmas day!

I did all my vegetable – Leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots in my new PKP – which took a grand total of 5 minutes for all of them! And they were perfectly cooked. Not soggy. This meant that my oven was free for the meat and my nut roast and the potatoes.

At the end of cooking, I had one tray and my PKP bowl to clean! That was it – Amazing!

And more to the point everything tasted fantastic!

Here is my dinner!

My completed Christmas Dinner!
Vegetables after being cooked – Not soggy just perfect!

After Christmas day I was so excited to get cooking with my PKP, that I got a bit carried away and started cooking all the time in it! I and my partner have never eaten so well!

So I am going to share some of my meals that I have cooked so far. I am also going to be setting up a separate monthly post where I will share future recipes with you and hopefully if you are a PKP user also you can share yours with me!

Here are some of the meals I have cooked so far. Please excuse some of these photos, I am not a professional photographer and I was hungry! šŸ™‚

Everything shown below was all cooked in the PKP. All these meals are Gluten Free as well!

White Wine and Mushroom Risotto & steamed Basa Fish
Creamy mushroom & Spinach Pasta
Chunky Root Vegetable Soup
Quorn Tikka Masala & Rice
Pea Soup

I absolutely love this and I am so excited to share it with you. If you don’t have one, I can’t urge people highly enough to get one lol.

I am not a very good cook at all, but as you can see from the pictures above, I now feel like Gordon Ramsey!

I am finally able to cook fresh healthy meals, and more to the point I am able to do them in no time at all.

As I mentioned before I really rate this product for people with chronic illnesses as well because it just takes out all the hassle you normally have from cooking.

I know the feeling of having a ‘flare’ day, and wanting something tasty or healthy, but you’re in pain or fatigued and cant face standing in the kitchen for hours. Standing over pots and pans on the stove and having separate things in the oven. Its a pain in the ass. With the PKP, you can make anything. A nice warm stew – 20 mins, while you sit down and watch tv. Or maybe BBQ ribs, just pop them in the PKP with a sauce and shut the lid!

It’s even quicker than waiting for an hour for takeaway! BONUS!

If you would like to try the PKP you can buy below from Amazon!

Your food looks incredible and you should be so proud of yourself with your flares. I suffer with Degenerative Disc Disease, and the pain Iā€™m in daily is debilitating.
