“I have been given this product as part of a product review through the Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company. “
There are a number of lovely smelling essential oils, herbs and fragrances present in Invigorate.
Manjistha and Arjuna
Other Oils include:
Hemp Oil Extract
Apricot Kernel Oil
Clove Oil Extract
As I’m sure you can imagine, it makes the lotion smell really pleasant and calming.
One other ingredient that is included is MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane).
MSM allows sulphur to be absorbed into the body quicker. In people who have chronic pain, such as Arthritis, or Osteoarthritis, the reason they get the breakdown of cartilage is due to the lack of sulphur.
Magnesium is also included, something that is required on a daily basis, but something that many people are deficient in. Applying this lotion topically allows magnesium to enter the system quickly and efficiently. According to the makers of invigorate, many users start to feel pain relief within 10 minutes!
I have been using this lotion for around 4 weeks now on a daily basis, and I have definitely felt an improvement in my aches and pains.
As someone who suffers from fibromyalgia and chronic pain, I have been really impressed with the relief I have felt with this product. I also really like the smell!
The cream is incredibly easy to apply. The bottle that it comes in, is a well made, metal bottle, which suggests quality and shows that the company have clearly put a lot of effort into making this a good product.
As you can see in the picture, the bottle comes with a pump nozzle, which allows for the cream to be dispersed easily.
You will not need a lot of the cream, maybe 1 – 2 pumps I find is more than enough to apply to most places. The lotion is not thick but is not overly runny easy, and it rubs in really well, without leaving a residue or stickiness that a lot of creams have.
The instructions for use are very simple. Simply apply the cream to the painful area and rub in. You can also apply the lotion below the bottom of the left rib for systemic relief.
After applying the lotion, there is no heat that you will feel. However, I did feel very quickly a relief to the area which only seemed to improve. The aches or pains I got also seemed to stay away a lot longer than when I did not have the cream on.
Overall I was really really impressed with the product. I am not a big believer in creams and lotion and potions, but I would certainly purchase this product again. It has become my go-to pain reliever lotion, and I even prefer to use it over more conventional creams like Nurofen pain reliever gel and other gels containing antiinflammatories.
Invigorate Lotion retails for between $20 and $55 per bottle depending on size. In the UK this is the equivalent of around £15.00 and £44.00.
This may seem a lot, but considering the quality of ingredients, and the fact that the lotion actually lasts a really long time, it is certainly worth the investment.
